Callie DeMizio, “Twisters of Oklahoma: Defined, Detailed and Described,” a review of the history of tornado research – worldwide and at Oklahoma State University – concluding an assessment of safety measures in place at OSU, Stillwater, and Oklahoma to protect human life as what we call “tornado season” changes.

William Ranallo, “A New Era Takes Flight,” a retrospective history of Aerospace Engineering at Oklahoma State University with an assessment of what it means for the school’s “Land-Grant Mission” as well as the aviation industry in Oklahoma today.

Fall 2023

Drew Brawley, “Conference Realignment and NIL in College Football: A Historical Perspective,” a nuanced historical excavation of what led to recent major shifts in collegiate football conferences (Big 10, SEC, etc.) and what NIL has to do with it.

Aiden Carrera, “Skateboarding and Oklahoma State University,” a comparison between skateboarding history and culture at Oklahoma State University and in the US at large.

Kolby Hamilton, “Eating Disorders: Ending the Stigma That Harms Many,a scholarly inquiry into the varied causes and effects of eating disorders and how stigma surrounding these conditions can be reduced to alleviate those suffering from them.

Bailey Hendershott, “Alcohol Abuse and The Lack of Support in College Students,” an honest discussion about rates and causes of alcohol abuse among college students at OSU, based on anonymous student surveys and interviews, an assessment of what the University is doing to prevent the trend, and a simple suggestion of what sort of programming could help.

Gannon Kazi, “Who is Angie Debo? The Inner Workings of a Monolith,” an archival study of the paradoxical ideas of famous Oklahoma historian Angie Debo and how her legacy and archives became divvied up between rivals Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma University.

Brayden White, “Benefits of Oklahoma State University Wildlife Research,” a study of where and how OSU invests in wildlife protection and conservation efforts to help fulfill it’s land-grant mission to make the world a better place.

Kennadi Price, “The Founding of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at OSU and the Expansion of their Mission,” a history of the campaign to found the FCA and the role of collegiate athletics in the formation of their now international renown.

Chris Vineis, “The Forgotten Murders of the Osage Indians,” a historiographic study of the series of murders of Osage tribespeople in northeastern Oklahoma that made the first big case for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
